Bikes that have aged well

Post by seb421 »

so i was looking at other bikes i have liked and came across this stunner of a TL

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Suzuki-TL1000 ... 837wt_1139

that's a mint example of the TLS but i just think its a bike that has aged well,

What other bikes in your opinion has time been good to?

There's something about the very early R1's I really love in the red and white colours :-)

yep Katana, but I like the 750 pop up.
the TL's you have to watch for frame cracks, they are really well known for it, I belong to old school suzuki as well and there are loads of members on there that have had frames crack around the head stock, shock mounts and engine mounts.

JPS Norton! would mind having one of them they have aged well lol

I've seen a lot of that "listing it for a mate coz he aint got an account". I'm always suspicious of that....I mean who the hell doesn't have an account. Even if you don't, would it not be better to take 5 mins to open one and control the sale. Or maybe the friend did but something has happened....hummmmm.
And whats more, Pay Pal is bloody handy these days. Dunno why but I get the creeps when I see that and would never ever bid when I'm dealing with a 3rd party. I'm not even sure where it would leave you legally as well, or how pay pal/ebay would view refunds if the 3rd party got shitty about maybe selling naff goods.
