It'll be too rich with 48's
It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.

Left the 45s in, seems to go well enough, with no flat spots
throughout, and get 110 miles till RLOD, so happy there too !!
Leaving stuff now till bike comes off the road in December :D

The hangers were home made, they been around the forum quite a bit.
Theyre going back up for sale as the exhausts wouldn't sit right (had to refit the sturdy standards)

I used Hammerite smooth paint but it was not easy to put on, very thin coats.
its lasted ok though, couple of stone chips though.

I've used hammerite smooth black on a frame and metal work on one of my old bikes, it turned out really well, but it was a utter ball ache to us, as kev said loads of light coats, and lots of time.
I still think the storm looks better with satin black metal work, here's a pic or two of my old bike mid resto.

that's a full two brother system mate, but you should be able to just buy the links, if they still make them.

I really like the satin black metal work. I didn't think I would but it really compliments the silver of the bike's body work and changes the focus. It's very nicely done.

So my plans for the winter break.

Swing arm, rear sets, can hangers are all going black powdered

All plastic, back to silver (money permitting) gonna be done properly this time (not by me)

Front fork overhaul , lowers will go black.

Valve clearances
New CCTs

General service next march
Pictures will follow as I progress

:D
