Frame and engine wanted

Post by hawky »

Frame and engine wanted for project build.
Will also require a tank and loom.
Please get in touch should you have anything suited.
Thanks

I’m simply looking for the chassis and motor to build around and have a project keeping me busy for a year or so.

Will be fitting a radial front and different rear end and so on

Up date

Swing arm with a deep score where chain was thrown but could be useful.

An engine that was a runner but the thrown chain broke the lugs of the chain cover but i would imagine in is
repairable. There has been some subsequent cannibalisation so the clutch cover has gone, the heads have no valves. Probably a few other odds and sods. The crankcase and gear box has not been disturbed

I have a loom but from memory the front and rear light plugs have been removed. So probably not an issues for a radical custom build

The frame has a small dent where lloydie missed the central engine mounting bolt while beating it with a hammer to remove it. Ok to fill if you are going with a painted frame

The tank is dent free and had the paint scraped off to prove it. Rust free

I would have to put in a lot of time to make some money out of this lot and personally i would rather have the space back.

If it is of any interest to you offer me a few quid and it could be yours. Located near Peterborough

A few bits and it's on the road in time for summer.
