Fork spacers (internal)

Post by popkat »

Anyone got the spacers that go on the top of the fork springs, quite long ones don't know length but would guess about 100mm, They're the only spacers in the forks so you'll know.

Cheers.

No3 they are out there around 12-14 for one...

If you can wait I'll measure one, prob next weekend tho... I just don't have any spare forks laying around for a quick measure...So its a full on strip down to find out...

Al & Fabio have just put new forks on so they should have the old forks laying about & easy to get to...

when I fitted K tech springs to the race bike I had to cut the spacer down 10mm, odd as I have K tech springs in my Storm and they popped straight in with the std spacers. I'm going to get some lighter weight springs so may well need stock length spacers.
Was hoping someone had an old bent pair of forks lying about that they could rob them from.

I'm pretty sure they are 110mm long as standard and cut down to 100mm when upgraded, I'm sure someone will be along shortly to confirm.
Any pipe will do, even plastic pipe , that's what's in the SP2s.

I may have some but will have to wait until Saturday when I can search the stock shed in daylight.
It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.
