Kermit aka snot rocket [SOLD]

Post by lloydie »

£2000 to forum members
This is one of the best firestorms out there .
I've built this bike from the ground up and only used the best parts I could find .
This bike wants for nothing ,it's all been done and then some .

I've turned this vtr into what Honda should of made in the first place .

There is still a few things it's new owner can do to put there own stamp on it .like a set of race cans and a belly pan ,

This really is a great looking bike and I always get great comments about it .
I have spent thousands on this bike tho I won't disclose the amount in case her indoors reads this as she'll want more shoes and handbags, not like she has enough already !.

Now some more information about the bike for you .

52 plate (late registration early model)
One previous owner,
44k ish on the clock,
It had an engine change due to cam chain tensioner failing and the replacement engine has 17k less than the bike ,
The engine is sweet and very quiet , it really is a good engine .
I have the original sales receipt and gold card from Honda and some history ,
The owners book is there too ,
V5 in my name and it has been updated with the engine and colour change .

Good bits ,
MOT till February 2016 it had one advisory for rear brake pads and I have replaced them .

I've just given it a full service containing off
Oil,oil filter, plugs,air filter,
And valve clearance check ,brake and clutch fluid change,
All bearings were changed late last year , swing arm, linkages, wheels ,head race, forks were serviced last year too, all brake calipers were services too.
Tyres (pilot road 2s) and brake pads and chain & sprockets are all good .
it had a new bigger amp battery in February .

So don't need any of that doing .

modifications .

929 blade front end including brakes with Armstrong wavy discs ,
Updated fork internals with linear springs .
Carbon front mud guard ,
Braided lines all round ,
2006 yokes (to keep the geometry correct )
Billet top yoke with risers and adjustable bars ( so you can set them how ever you like ,
Ohlins rear shock,
Hugger ,
Armstrong wavy rear disc,
Later model indicators with clear lenses ,
Bubble screen ,
Data tool gpi,
Volt,clock,temp display,
Cree LED side light ,
White dials ,
Givi rack and two helmet top box,
Lightened flywheel,
+4' ignition advancer ,
Cbr600rr Stick coils ,
Ngk iridium 5545 spark plugs,
Vac take offs,
Manual ccts,
Later finned r/r,
Full custom professional paint job in triumph roulette green and number boards ,
Under tray ,
Powder coated frames and swing arm .
Powder coated wheels,
Carbon engine covers ,
Mirror extenders,
Tank grips,
HRC tank protector and filler cap protector,
Titanium generator case plugs.

The bad bits .

There are two or three stone chips on the front fairing and one rub mark on the seat unit tho not easy to see or find unless you really look for them .

This really is a very well looked after bike and I'll be sad to see it go .

I recommend that you view the bike before committing to buy.

No warranty offered or implied
No returns
UK customers only
Cash on collection.

Please feel free to ask any questions regarding the bike.

If you haven't seen the bike in the flesh, it is a stunner.......... and Lloydies skills with the spanners mean that the new owner will have nothing to worry about.

good luck with the sale
