Been trying 75mm extenders for a few days. No significant improvement with the rear view. My only issue is restricted space for parking. Overall good. I'm off to holland thursday & may leave them on for the trip. If anyone wants to try them, let me know,
More sets of 50mm extenders now available.
£25 + £4 postage.

50mm extenders currently out of stock. Next batch under construction.
Also looking at plastic composite material as an alternative to aluminium. When machined i will test on the bike then post pictures.
Watch this space for updates over the next few weeks.

Just an idea Richard but you may want to look into drilling a hole for wires through the centre core of them, though it might have to be slightly offset because of the bolt/join. This would allow users the option to use them to attach GSXR mirrors with built in indicators if they wanted to.

On the GSXR mirrors all one would have to do is trim the stem down and cut the half at the end to attach to the half on your extenders and put the bolt through. Not something I have tried but seems feasible to me.

sorry carl for long wait for a reply.
drilling extender is not a problem. just been measuring mirrors & extenders. the link to the Suzuki mirrors says 6 inch stem. that is about the same length as standard mirror with 75mm extender fitted. but if you fit 50mm extender to gsx mirror it will be even longer than this.
the standard Suzuki mirror will be almost the same length as vtr mirror with 50 mm extender fitted.
I road tested 75mm extenders. the look from the front of the bike was weird (too long). vision was not improved much from 50mm extenders. but everyone is different.
if you ended up with wider mirrors than the 75mm extended vtr mirrors , I think it would be too much.
I have pictures of 50mm extended mirrors & 75mm extended mirrors. I can email them if you send address

Mirror extenders now available in alternative material.
Delrin (acetal homopolymer). The material is black & a plastic compound. Extender dimensions are excactly the same for each type. The delrin do not require painting, as they are already black.
Aluminium extender weighs 76grams
Delrin extender weighs 38 grams.
Currently available, 4 sets aluminium & 3 sets delrin
