Make your Vtr stand out, fit a Vfr Sssa

If you want your bike to look like this

You need to start with one of these

Good condition, marks from being in workshop/moved around etc, they will clean off

As you can see it Includes the chain guide, sprocket (looks ok), disc (seems fine), rear caliper and lines

£125 included postage unless it's to a location that costs more to deliver

This was taken from a VFR discussion

What was the outcome...well the VFR swingarm assembly was heavier no surprise... but not by the amount I was expecting.

2004 VFR swingarm/tire/shock - 67lbs
2011 CBR600RR swingarm/tire/shock - 59lbs

Maybe Yeti is still doing the bodywork?

I have seen this on a few bikes and it is nice.

I know they need work to fit. Am I correct in thinking this one is not ready to fit as such?
If you don't try you never know if you can do it.

From an engineering PoV SSSAs are a pile of poo. They have advantages if you are endurance racing and need to change rear wheels in a hurry but, functionally, they are rubbish compared to a double sided arm.

I'm feeling old and grumpy this evening. SSSAs, high level pipes. WTF are they good for except, in some peoples eyes, they look cool. Functionally they are inferior.

There. I feel better now.

Very true. Unreserved apologies. I'm out of order.
