Steering headstock bearings

Hi, I’ve searched forum but can’t find a how to guide I want to replace the bearings but I’m not sure which bearings are the best. Any advice would be most appreciated :D

There is no 'guide' on how to on here but basicaly you have to remove the the old races, the cup that the bearing sit in both top & bottom & replace with the new ones in the kit...

It's a fairly common thing so there should be a vid or several 100 on you tube on 'how to...'

Although if you not confidant, dont have tools or a clue best get someone to do it for you...

If you switch to roller bearings rather than ball bearings then disregard the torque settings for the headstock and top nuts, they dont need to be set as tightly as ball bearings.
It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.

Officially All Balls states in the install instructions, to use OEM tq procedures and specs. But I agree with Tony.mon, its just not needed and likely a legal liability bit of stuff their lawyers made them put in there.

I would go for japanese brand like Koyo or NTN, of course there is nothing wrong with AllBalls.

Codes to search are:
Upper: 32005X 26x47x15
Lower: 32006JR 30x55x17
