Hi level exhausts

Post by VTR3545 »

Hi....thinking about changing the exhausts to go level but need to keep rear footpegs...as most require these to be taken off, I was wondering what is available while keeping them....anyone using some or have advice please give it ....cheers

If you take a look at vtr's on eBay there is a couple of bikes with hi level cans and the foot pegs are kept. Some cans will need longer bolts and spacers.
SO WHEN DOES THIS OLD ENOUGH TO KNOW BETTER KICK IN

The Scorpions I sold recently had what is described above. Long thin spacers and long bolts. Looked like it worked well
If you don't try you never know if you can do it.

Yes Scorpions work very well with their way of bringing the rear footrests hangers out over the high-level link pipes as Rob mentions. Before anyone asks, no I don't have a yellow rear hugger  :)
The photo at least gives you a better idea of how this works:-
