Need to replace the tyres on my 98 Storm!!!

Post by Taz69 »

Hi guys

My tyres are leaking air and have been told due to age thy need to be replaced.

Bridgestones are on at the mo, not sure what ones but I've had the bike for at least 8 years, not used very often.

Been recommended the following at the mo!

Dunlop GPR300 (good but budget tyre so I'm told) £180
Bridgestones BT016 Pro's £200
Pirelli Angel, ST front and GT for the rear, £240

These prices are fitted to the bike by a local mobile biker , prices on the net maybe cheaper but then I have to get them fitted as well. Protyre seem to be a few quid dearer as well.

Just wondering what to go for, my riding is sometimes quick especially straight lol, not always confident on the bends but hopefully getting back to it more this year so that should be sorted, but it's road not track.

Thanks guys

Started with ST and then changed to GT. Can't fault either of them. Got a fresh set of ST today for another bike €€€185 (real money) fitted

Where are you based to be paying €185 for a pair! That's nearly as cheap as on online.
