I wouldn't panic, ride the bike an enjoy it, but do something about the cct's sooner rather than later. A failure is something that can happen without any prior warning signs and mileage is irrelevant. You may develop a rattle, you may not.

I am a complete novice and have followed this by the letter! one proud little gerbil here, job done running sweet and time for a well earned brew!!

Is there any one out there willing to either do the job for me, or watch over me whilst I do the swap.

I'm definitely going to have a go as the instructions here are very comprehensive.

Having done a full service now my confidence is growing and as soon as my bike lift is free I'll start taking bits off !!!!
