Last night's progress...

Fitted front and rear braided hoses.
Fitted braided clutch hose.
Wheels out to go for painting. Discs and bearings thrown away, replacements to be ordered.
Forks out to go for painting before they go for refurb.
Fuel tank back on for now.
Cush rubbers were rock solid and 2 fell apart so will order them too.Image

No idea what it felt like before! Was told it rode fine, however it then sat for years and there's no way you'd want to try riding it the state it was in when I got it!!

Flap wheel or wire wheel, then either polish and lacquer, or powder coat.
But the best route is a tidy USD Blade front end, imho.

Blade front end would be first choice, but gotta keep costs down for now! So some elbow grease required!

Although, my wife has a new Fireblade. Wonder if she'd notice if I borrowed the front end......
