Post by StuartWags »

What is the best, reasonably priced cam for on-board footage on track days ? Time for an upgrade

It may be that your whole purpose in life is simply to serve as a warning to others.

Hi. I'm from holland and New on this forum. I did a trackday resently and filmed it with a tomtom bandit cam on a RAM mount. It works great! Even the sound.
Find remco speet assen on YouTube and see.
(Session 3 contains a gravel hug btw)

I use a gopro4 when I'm on my mtb and my brother uses a Chinese version costing about a quarter of the price. When the files are uploaded I honestly can't really tell the difference.

If I was to buy again I'd probably go for something like an sjcam or similar. They cost way less, do the job and I wouldn't worry about smashing hundreds of pounds worth of camera if I was to bin it.
