It's not the crack you want to test, it's the wheel, to make sure it hasn't got any.
Powder coating will hold it all together AND hide the cracks, you could try that.
Wonder why Dymag chose that particular first syllable for their wheels?

I would say it's more to do with life expectancy than checking the wheel for cracks, although obviously you don't want any crack

They are wheel sex i have to say. iv x-rayed mine several times just for peace of mind. it was the rear carrier that bolts onto the wheel that tried to kill me
. but i really want the spondon swinger back into the bike as much as i like the one in atm..

I think you're right, Chris; having a wheel break up under you is likely to shorten your life expectancy.....

so that leaves me with the problem, i want the spondon swingarm back into it. but storm wheels are far to narrow

May be you can find a wider wheel that will work, I'm guessing the Spondon s/arm takes a 6" wheel

yeah chris it runs a 6" rim....i have been told to hunt down a ZRX 11/1200 rear wheel, they are 3 spoke like the dymags. the spondon swinger uses a huge axle aswell so i may do some googling on kwak rear wheels..

Find a suitable rear wheel and get that swinger back in.
Your bike is pure porn and deserves the spondon touch.
There must be loads of rear wheels out there that will fit, just need to find one and as Barry White said "Get it on"

After mucho thought and head scratching about wheels.. im wrapping my rear dymag up and keeping it safe but i cant bring myself to use or trust one on the rear. just not worth getting it wrong, i had a lucky escape and il take that as a warning..
the hunt is still on to get the wheel/spondon swing arm all to fit but either way il not fret to much as the swingarm im using will do the job atm..

I think you're a sensible man regarding that rear wheel.
Nothing too drastic over the winter I hope
As much as I'm sure you would like the Spondon swingarm fitted, I think the one you're using looks good,
