Motobatt MBTX16U

Post by SmileyVTR »

Swapped over to new battery and per Flatline's post I tried the MBTX16U. It's pretty tall but does fit easily.

Excellent batteries  had 1 on for a few years now, just make sure you have the finned type reg/rec on, I fitted a finned type with THC (thermal Heat Compound) used in computer heat sinks etc, after the standard Honda un-finned type boiled/distorted the first Mottobatt I put on, distorted it so much it turned all the flat sides round and need a pry bar to get it out 8O but once I changed the reg/rec to a finned type and slapped a load of THC on the back then bolted it to frame then exchanged the battery under warranty  all has been great since, even leaving the bike outside in -5 deg in the snow it started first try
Absolutely Sodding Bloody typical!!!
