Still got the link pipes to get made but I won't be using them for a while so they can wait till May.

Jobs done today .
Stopper mod,
Bled the brakes .
Filled all fluids,
Fitted standard exhaust (mallory park has a low DB limit),
Changed the rear wheel ,
Fitted belly pan and fairing ,
Hooked the tank up ,
Fitted controls .
Bound to be more as I've been in there since 6am !!

you going to rattle can the tank black, with some white also, it would really set the bike off, it'll be one of the prettiest bikes in the gravel trap.... :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol:
couldn't resist that one, it really would make it a good looking bike. if you do it, make sure you use petrol resistant lacquer.... :wink:

Don't know if I'm going to paint the tank yet tbh ,
I'm thinking about changing the colour of the bike to match the v5 (multi coloured) but that won't be till later this year and to be honest I'd like a decent rear shock in there first and get the lighter wheels fitted .
I just want it useable for this season so I can collect gravel a few times !!

it'll cost about £20 of Halfords finest paint to finish that tank off lloydie, you know you wanna.... :thumbup:

I wouldn't use that sh1t .
I can get much better paint from a proper paint shop for £10 a can but you get much better coverage with it so it works out cheaper .
The main problem is it's still to cold out to be painting :-(
