Hello guys! Just fitted a 2into1 on my '97 VTR but I feel the carburators need some adjustment. By ear I'd say the rear cylinder, due to the very short pipe, is probably a bit "thirsty".
Any advice?
The bike is very "ready" when I open the throttle but when I try to rev up it's weaker than before... to a point where it runs fine again.

Is yours that fugly home made system on face book ?
You do know the exhaust pipe is a tuned length ?
Making the rear shorter than the front with out the correct bend will mess it up a treat (not than I know much about exhausts )

Of course I know the different length pipes aren't a perfect solution, yeah. But I wanted to hear it/try it before scrapping the idea... wasn't an expensive test after all.
I think the rear cylinder needs a richer mixture.
