storm update!!

had busy few nights, taking bits of, cleaning, sanding, priming and painting.
got the cans and link pipes mounted now and they sound sweet. don't look as good as the 4 cone cannons did but they serve a better function to the engine and my ears!!

as she sits tonight, the putting back together can start now and she'll be finished again by end of tomorrow, that will just leave the wheels left to do. going to paint the centres black as that will then leave me with the blank canvas i want for the modifacations and paint job next winter!!!

also the kwaker fell through, but i just been offered a simular project tonight, and yep, another zx6r, 99, engine and some light crash damage, £400 ono. might have to have a look once i got some wedge back as i just lost all my savings getting the misses a new car, gets here of my case again though!!

got plenty of the little jobs done over the weekend and all the bits i had removed to paint etc back on the bike, just the belly pan left to fit but i got some more alloys in to refurb this week so the bike is back in the garage till the weekend.

she sounds so sweet now with the big cans back on, i do love a good boomer over the bang and the sound that was very close to that of a harley!!

I have to say Dave, I was not expecting the new cans to look as good as the old set-up. It just goes to show how wrong sometimes one can be, they look great 8)
