tony.mon wrote: โ†‘Mon Sep 14, 2020 8:18 pm It's a spell checker problem we don't mind how fat or thin the bins are, but want to see bins.

Dustbins, scrap bins, garden waste bins, any bins.

Its traditional.

The more the merrier.

Just give us bins.

Bins are probably more important than the bike pix, tbh.
Everyone knows what a Firestorm looks like, we've all got one or had one.

But bins, there's an infinite variation, size, colour ( the green ones empty fastest) and the smell, oh, the smell- there's nothing to compare to a swarf bin with mixed brass and stainless chippings, and a gallon or so of coolant swilling about to keep it fresh and fragrant, oh, oh, ohhhh. Oooohhhhhhh.
That was a good one.

Or is it just me?

And hi.

There is no known cure and the symptoms progress to a lesser or greater extent depending on the individual. Some have tried to reform and self medicate by using strange and exotic products. Just to explain...

The requiement for a bin in shot, comes from one of our esteemed members complaining about bins in pics of bikes for sale.

It's a fair point really, ''My beloved bike I've cherished for two years is reluctently up for sale...'' ect ect .

Then they post a shite pic of it not clean & in front of a bin... & if it's so beloved why are you selling it ?

We just demand a bin shot now from new members just to wind him up...

It's traditional now.

Yep, a lot of 'poetic licence' in bike ads. I'm sure some of these guys come from the real estate and car sales industry. Only recently I viewed an ad claiming that '34,000' is low miles. Sure, mileage might be relevant to year of manufacture, but I'd never see 34K as 'low' under any circumstances.
