Hi all. New member.

Post by Wilky811 »

Got my first Storm after first riding one 23 yrs ago. A bit of a project. She's a red '97 and needs some TLC. Quite a bit of it. It's a bit rough, other than the paintwork and the engine is a gem. Looking forward to spending some valuable time in my garage over the coming winter.

Apologies for being off topic and outspoken here, but isn't '50 posts' too high for the 'wanted' section? I understand and accept the 50 will discourage freeloaders from joining purely to sell parts, but when an enthusiast joins and is clearly attempting the process of restoration, shouldn't he/she be able to access that section after, say, 10 posts? Just my thought process and suggestion.

Take you complaint/query to Admin... although they may politly tell you where to stuff it...

Seriously in the distant past some scroats first posts were on sales & wants, came went never to seen again, there were also some finacial things going on, parts not recieved or not paid for... Hence the post limit was set.

Now if you think about it 4x posts a day you'd be over 50 in two weeks, start your own thread about painting your wheels or something & you could do 10 posts in a day replying to people...

To the new person ( political correct here )
Welcome and enjoy.
If it's of an use the following seem to be popular topics

Sheep
Lube
Green wellies

In no particular order, strictly socially distanced and politically correct at all times!

Enjoy

I say, old bean, I am most dreadfully sorry I had forgotten your little peccadillo for that particular form of two wheeled transportation.

So yes wheelie bins

Every bike picture should contain at the very least one bin and to satisfy Mac's bin lust and a threesome or foursome, of bins, has been known 🤪🥳🤪
