For a bike thats been standing that looks nice & clean.

It looks as if it's been repainted at some stage, if you have a look on the curb side top rail of the subframe, just pop the seat off, the lock is under the rear light just north of the number plate to the left... There should be a white sticker with a code on it... If its still there that is...Alternatly lift the tank & check the bottom of the tank, they rearly get repainted as the sound deadening foam puts people off of doing a proper job...

So you mentioned the carbs...your first prority if they have not been fitted already is to sort out MCCT's...2nd on the list as its so easy...Reg Rec, then the shock linkage, sort/change all fluids & change the fork oil, refurb brakes ... lube the chain & check for tight spots, new boots & then ride it...
Have fun, then start thinking of ways to improve it... Suspension front & rear , upgrade the callipers, belly pan, six spoke wheels...ect ect...
Thanks - after browsing the forum that was my list. Just waiting for the Abba stand fitments to arrive (and it's bloody cold in my garage).

The repaint job didn't involve removing the original graphics...so they are still visible on the tank in the right light. Gotta love a quality job.

Hours of fun. Just about to updgrade the suspension on my MT-09, so need to save my pennies after that for the VTR :)

The EXIF GPS data is still embedded in the images on your blog page - it locates where the pics were taken right to your doorstep - you might want to strip the info out.

It may be that your whole purpose in life is simply to serve as a warning to others.

Spooky! How did you do that?
Oh, we know where they all are.
Theres a tracking chip in the ECU we can access via one of our members who works with the Police.
It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.
