Old newbie

Post by rst steve »

Hello

Some of you may remember me from a few years back had a red storm with an r1 seat unit. Did a thread about the whole build think it's still on here somewhere. Anyway had a few bikes since the storm. Had an aprilia rsvr mille, modded 1200 bandit, r6, drz400sm, r1 and now on a z1000. I am actually looking for my old storm as I want it back to finish what I've started I know it's still about as it's taxed and moted if anyone knows any info as to where it now lives it would be great to find out. Ride safe.

Hi Steve & welcome back.

Your post re the R1 conversion is here... viewtopic.php?t=12218#p93116

Because you used Photobucket the pics are no longer viewable... :(

This is who I use now it's free & IMO better than & cirtainly easier to use than PB... https://imgur.com/

I feel you need to upload at least one pic again as ther are lot of newbies since you last visited 6 bikes ago...

Also worth considering one of the Facebarf pages as there are lots of Stormers on there who dont come here...

This one is not bad there are a few forum Stormers on there... https://www.facebook.com/groups/48059891549/

You missed out on this earlier this year...

I remember the threads. It was a good looking bike with lots of clever mods, the tail end especially

Hope you manage to track it down

I tried joining that group but haven't heard anything back. I'll need to try again.

They're some nice looking bikes Steve!

Thanks for the replies. Some of my old bikes.

After the storm I went to a mille r. Great bike so fast but very temperamental.

From there to a modded 1200 bandit. Loads of trick bits on this.

Then went onto an r6. Didn't have this long didn't really get on with it.

Image

From there got bite by the supermoto bug.

After that came my r1. This I reckon is the best bike I have owned. An absolute animal.

Then onto my zed. Plans for the future are to get my storm back then looking at getting into debt want a kawasaki h2 lol.
