Howdy Hoo!

Post by bigbadjonno »

:biggrin
Hello all. I've just bought a nice shiny Storm after far too many years of no bike. I couldn't possibly go another summer with no bike, so I find myself the proud owner of a very nice (hopefully) 03 Storm in shiny blue.
I previously owned a black 2000 Storm W158 RHT so big shout to whoever is enjoying her these days

Previous others include a 600 Fazer and Blackbird - but never managed to satisfy the need for a big thumper.

The only plans I have for the moment are for some shouty cans and enjoy the new ride as much as time allows!

Greetings,

Please put manual CCTs to the top of your priority list if they haven't already been done!
It may be that your whole purpose in life is simply to serve as a warning to others.

Welcome to the forum.

Plus one on what Wicky said. Someone bought theirs a couple of weeks ago. Today he had a cct failure. If he'd fitted the manuals it wouldn't have happened. Poor fella.

Welcome in...yep get those CCT's sorted ASAP as Wicky said a lad over on one of the Farcebarf pages had his go yesterday leaving him stranded at the side of the road...he had a set sitting on his workbench waiting to be fitted...Now his looking for a new front head...

Oh BTW as a discription I can live with the shiny bit but there is no such thing as a nice blue Storm...

Ignor Kev he has dementia...

Whereabouts are you based ?

Thanks Guys, look forward to getting to a workshop day. Perfectly capable of doing the CCT's, but having 15 month old apprentice takes up a lot of time
I'm in Bridgend, South Wales.

Going to be building some form of secure home for the bike too, what's the thieving scumbag rates like on bikes these days??? Is the Firestorm desirable to undesirables?

welcome in ,that is a lovely example of the premier colour firestorm  .

I don't think they are top of the list for proper scum bike thieves but are probably about as good as it gets for your sh1tbag joyrider. :(.
