Just a quick hello...
Just a quick hello...
Hi guys and girls,
I've recently, on a whim and out of the blue bought a Firestorm off of a friend who planned to use it as a commuter but has just ended up sitting for 6 months amongst his sizeable collection of bikes, so i offered to take it off of his hands for what i thought was a reasonable price.
It's a 2000 model with 13'000 miles on the clock. Checking the MOT mileage history it shows it has covered less than a 1000 miles in 7 years!
Anyway, it's completely standard apart from a Scottoiler that came with it.
I've had it a few weeks now but only covered around 150 miles, as far as i'm aware the CCT's and R/R have not been swapped out so i'm wary of riding it at the moment, it's always in the back of my mind, so once i've done that i can have some fun! I've enjoyed the miles i've covered so far though!
Future plans aren't hugely exciting, all i'm looking to do is fit the lower fairing, double bubble screen, replace the monstrosity that are the indicators and possibly some new cans.
Thanks for reading
Ben

Hi there! Yeah i've kept everything from all the bikes! It seems as though i have an unintentional dedicated shed for all the old bits i've changed on my other bikes and cars
