MM does seem like a bit of a tw. I haven't followed his whole career but I reckon there's a bunch of riders from 125 and 250 GP now wearing a satisfied grin. Not to mention Dani and others who've suffered at his hands in MotoGP.

He's personable with reporters and has an infections grin which gets him through. Dani was (is) as talented but not as well liked because he never smiled. I wonder how popular MM would be if he was sullen-faced.

Watched "Hitting the apex" last night on DVD. Excellent film. Gives a good insight into four of the current front runners (JL, MM, DP and VR) with more from Marco Simoncelli (very sad) and Casey Stoner.

Watch it if you can.

I've just watched this again on a u tube clip and to me it looks like MM was going down just before VR lifted his leg as MM did hit him. The tw@ was going to fall off anyway in mho.

Thank You, it was a brilliant watch and also very sad.
One point i noted, was Race Control quoting, "If you lose 4 points, then start from the back of he grid"

Rossi had only 3 points taken off him, yet he is to start from the back of the grid???

+1 point he accrued on a previous occasion.....4 points in a 12 month period, any points carried over if the time limit runs from one season to another.
