A great loss indeed to the Irish bike racing scene. Although not a racer himself, without him being such a big cog in the racing wheel, the races could not be held.

And he was only 35. :(

When my Saturday night tins of Guinness get cracked open later, I'll be sure to raise a can.

My neighbour this morning told me John had been involved in a accident, how sad he didn't make it.

A huge loss not only to bikes but the whole country.. he was indeed a true gent and the world is a sadder place with out him... R.I.P doc john you will be missed by many..

Getting the signatures is the easy part. Getting the Irish Govt and official bodies to put Dr. Hinds campaign into a HEMS reality is still gonna take some fight!
