Troy Bayliss to be racing at Phillip Island.

Post by sirch345 »

For those of you who remember Troy Bayliss in WSBikes, if you have Eurosport you'll be able to see him race at the weekend. Unfortunately I don't have access to Eurosport.

Could be a cheeky win there.
I'll be watching it.

just seen that. cant wait to see how that goes. he was a proper hard nut when he was riding full time..

bit of a bummer for all the other riders if an old boy that hasnt raced in a while comes out and kicks ass lol

I can't really see him winning at 45yrs of age and been out of racing WSB's for 7yrs, although this is Troy Bayliss we're talking about. Providing he finishes the race I expect there will be some arses kicked

He's not been out of the loop and has tested the Penigale not too long ago for Ducati, so he's still pretty much up to speed, as for race fit we'll see but a lot of that is attitude and maybe some aggression, not something Bayliss has ever lacked.

Troy's speed will be interesting.
He has been doing a lot of racing and also started a Short Track series here in Oz.
I'd say there are a lot of younger riders that are just more hungry than he is, but will be good to watch.
