Wow so that outer circumference is the TT and all the other circuits fit within it. I didn't realise the Isle of Man was so big. Certainly puts things in perspective.

yup, used to go there to race my Formula Lightweight Single cyl racer, even did a training day there with Mark Forsyth of performance Bikes Magazine [but that was 18yrs ago!].carmanbikes wrote:Do you ever do the 3 sisters, Ha I mean the race track, I only live about 2 miles away from itAMCQ46 wrote:thats pretty cool don't see 3-sisters in there… it would be an ink spot

although it is a bit of a go kart / supermoto track, it was great for the small bikes and we had some great races there.
I can also claim that I still hold the lap record there, but that is partly because that class stopped racing there a few yrs after I retired

Stealing this, that's awesome.
I lived on the island for 10 years and it never felt that big!

Avus looks like an interesting circuit. It would be great for testing and finding the right size main jets.
