Is there a second trophy for the quickest pitstop?

It would be entertaining if it started to rain on lap 18, and ANOTHER change was necessary....

But how is this meant to make the average rider think "Yes, I fancy buying those make of tyre, after all they use them on GP bikes...."

If they can't make them last to the end of a race, how the hell are they going to last a summer?

No . And why do they change bikes at a pit stop ?
Why can't they do a TT pit stop ?
Surly if they put lube on the rubber it would ware out so fast !

I would be surly if someone put lube on rubber anywhere near me, so be warned.

it could make for an interesting race, motogp isn't always exiting racing, this year has been better than the previous few with Marquez's antics, this race could turn out to be good, they'll hopefully be able to really go for it not thinking about managing the tyres too much in each stint. I do think they should change wheels on the race bike but to do that effectively they'd need to make some mods to the bikes like endurance bikes have so to swap bikes is easier and safer in this case. Who knows they might make it permanent for next season with wheel swaps, don't think F1 like strategies would come into it as the races aren't long enough, it'll be more like a mad dash.

You're not wrong there Young Virt, that will certainly add a little something to the normal run of things.

Imagine the bike you're is running the closest to a perfect set up you've had all weekend, then you change bikes and the second bike is not  Okay if that should happen the other way around I guess :D

Wahcing Pit Lane bike swaps now.... OMG, its going to be carnage!!!!

They have also pulled the race back to 19 laps race distance.
Bike changes to be on Laps 9 and 10
