Very wet day at the track today, wind, rain and hail.
All the International Riders are freaking out, thinking not another wet race, but the weather is meant to clear.
If anything, its a good sign it is wet today, should fine for the weekend.

Just watched Marquez give a really good interview with Daryl Beattie.
He said he has been watching footage of Stoner race at Phillip Island.
He sure has been good for the sport in general.

Yeah that was a total farce wasn't it, penalty i felt was to harsh on marquez too, should have given him a ride through or something not a bloody black flag.

Also BBC commentators said about the spectators that no one has turned up because Casey wasn't racing, any one else catch that?

I think that race was pointless and should be made irrelevant in the overall standings, to be honest.

The pit lane speeds and how far you had to go at those speeds was beyond stupid, and it probably caused more brown-pants moments than the one we saw with Marquez and Lorenzo. Plus the whole swapping bikes thing was a farce too..

Brilliant go by Jorge and all, but it's hardly a race when punishments are handed out in that quantity. At least 3 punishments were given, that's over 10% of the riders

Thats only the half of it.
Police hammer anyone going to or leaving the Australian Moto GP via bike.
Its become beyond ridiculous.....

So many passed race goers are sick of it.... and have decided after this race or previous, that TV coverage is for them from now on.
The Stoner thing is one thing.... But don't forget we had Gardner and Doohan too.... That is when we really had good numbers at the Island.

The race this year was exciting, but not pure..... I can totally understand why people are disappointed.
Let racers Race..... get rid of any external interference... thats all the people want.

He lost the front mid corner about half race distance, was in third when he lost it iirc wasn't forced but was trying to stick to the front runners

Oh yeah saw the replay after the race, his revs dropped off really quickly just before the front tucked..

I wonder if he loaded the front too much by letting off the throttle too quickly? Or maybe grabbed a bit too much front brake..
