Some great pics here!

I've had a few 2 strokes, but I missed out on the proper 2 stroke era by a few years. They're so expensive now.

I'll see if I can dig out some pics later

How much do you think you'll be getting for it Al? I'd love a little 2 stroke for the lanes.

Here's a couple of my old bikes, I started out on the AR125lc as my first road bike (many a bike were sacrificed around the old railway line before I was old enough to ride on the road!).

Then after various other bikes, I'd saved enough for a Cagiva Mito 125, which I loved! But eventually was stolen overnight from outside my girlfriends house. I wasn't insured for theft, so it took me another year to save up for my next bike and full license.

My YZ250 motocross bike was a handful! Lots of fun.

The little blue minimoto ended up at the mercy of my boredom and ended up life as a 2 stroke skateboard! Image

I had a Kawasaki KE175, Suzuki A100 and various other 2 strokes, but no photos unfortunately. ImageImageImageImageImageImage

Wasn't that going to be picked up by Gabi in his van?
It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.

Here is mine, in the process of buying it (NB: no mention of it having to be a bike in the title, lol)...Image

an honest-to-goodness cross-country racing snowmobile... woohoo!!!! Read about it here: http://www.arcticinsider.com/Article/Ju ... -Race-Sled

600 cc semi-direct injection twin, 125 hp...

as far as bikes, my first bike was a 1979 Yamaha DT100F and I later had a 1982 Honda CR480R and a couple of 1990 Yamaha DT200Rs...

P.S. That Gas-Gas is a sweet bike

you are right. Gabi nagged me all through lockdown 1 to sell it, and when I eventually decided I should, he was hit with some unexpected bills and had to pull out 8O .

but I think it has found a new owner now :D

Hopefully the bike comes complete with some of Al's skill...

Can't wait to go for a ring-a-ting-ting on her!

Grew up on two strokes, 4 strokes were boring and for old men how things change. Had SS50 Yamaha (early one pre FS1E), KH250 Kawasaki lovely bike for a 17 year old in summer of 1976, GT380 Suzuki, RD400 Yamaha, GT750 Suzuki bought it 1980 still got it. Lives in back of garage with Firestorm. Firestorm is next to be brought back to life now I've built a workshed. (Just got to finish cleaning my Benelli). RD350 Yamaha, TS250 Suzuki, GT250 Suzuki last model without the ram air, for some reason never liked that bike. Can't remember any more I had. How do you post pictures on here now? Last time I put any on it was photobucket days.

Nice history neil, and bet you are glad you kept the kettle.

For photos, I use the tapatalk app on my phone, it then sorts out the picture hosting onto this forum. But you can also add attachments with the internet browser version of the forum on your computer.

If you are writing a reply, you need to scroll down so you are below the text entry window, look below the Submit button you will see 2 tabs..... Options & Attachments.

Open attachments and then it will allow you to brows any images off your computer.

There are plenty I've missed. More Yams, Kawas, KTMs and Suzukis. Never had a Honda 2 stroke though.

bumping this to the front so Jamie can post pictures of the good work he is doing on my old yellow GG 200 Enduro bike.

I was laughing my head off when he rocked up at the A12 services on it for the ride to Wickys funeral
