Noice...
It may be that your whole purpose in life is simply to serve as a warning to others.

It is, struggling with changes I made/had done to suspension - Had the forks sent to Maxton (twice) absolutely hated them - it was as if there were solid bars in place of springs! I now have Later (X1 forks with Hyperpro springs in, loads better but I'm going to put a lighter oil in (at some point)
I changed the rear shock for an AST (really limited for shock options as the standard set up works on pull) Hated the AST, had it revalved twice and still hated it.

I actually rode the standard forks and shock way better than I have achieved with aftermarket stuff, it totally killed my confidence with it.

I have just put a Wilburs rear shock on it which has a linkage to convert the shock operation to conventional, I am really really hoping to fall back in love with it this summer :)

It has a 1250cc, 6 speed box, head work, cams, plus loads and loads to remove HD shite build quality within. Twin discs up front, ally oil tank that holds more oil, one off dash....I could go on!!
She has over 40000miles on her!

I fell in love with the looks of the S1, then loved it more as it always upset the jap riders in the bends, well up until the new generation litre bikes came out!!
When I last had it dyno’d it was 101bhp & 91ftlb at rear wheel.
Every time I fire her up, I just start grinning like a man possessed
