Man down again FFS!

Post by MacV2 »

Yep i've dropped it again & again the bike has come off better than me...

Image

Came off on way home Tues eve. about 8 miles from home, roundabout at top of hill, Grain Rd...Got some help picking it up, quick visual check, nothing hanging off.

Fek me I'm hurting, right arm, i managed to get lid & gloves off, sweating buckets, one of the people who stopped regognised me & said 'your from grain arn't you, do you wan't a lift back?'

I declined & stupidly, under the circumstances rode the bike back...I swore a lot...

Got back & young lad from next door came out...'I might need you to take me to A&E....'

Took me 30 mins just to change t-shirt again with lots of swearing involved...

Got to A&E 7ish after various waits I got taken to a ward, got there about 11.30...

As it is fractured they cant do the relocation of the dislocation as it will cause more damage...So night in & various opinions sought, told op the next day so nil by mouth from 03.30...

That didn't happen, so got fed then told op deff tomorrow so nil by mouth from 03.30 again...

Then at about 10pm i gets told i was being moved to another ward... Still managed to blag another meal, which was nice...Quieter ward as well so slept better...

Went down for op about 9am...woke up in recovery room at 11am... farted around back on ward till kicked out around 6pm got home around 7pm...

Hows your luck ?

typing left handed sucks...

Will post more tomorrow...

Already rang Wee Willie Fabiostar as NI trip is off the cards...well pisssed off... :x

Go ahead take the piss all you want...just remember your talking to a man who rode his bike 8 miles with a dislocated shoulder...fecking hard as nails me... daft as a bush mind...

Ouch! How many weeks off work will that need?

What caused you to come off?
It may be that your whole purpose in life is simply to serve as a warning to others.

Work should have let you use the van.....

Sorry to hear this, I'll give the Joey statue an inappropriate rub for you, assuming I have bearings on my shock linkage by then.
You tried to call my home number tonight, I'll pm my mobile.
Cheers matey
