It wouldn't surprise me if they are trying to find a loophole to dismiss you as being unfit for work. They surly must have a replacement for you doing your job all this time on a temp basis with possibility of permanent.

So I finally got notifcation to attend a stage 2 formal sickness absence review...!

Only nearly 2 weeks since I phoned in chasing it up...

26/3/2019 at 10 AM or to put it another way...anther weeks time...

Got an email today which also states they are waiting to get a date for physio...

Which is kinda good as it would point to the fact I ain't gonna get the tin tak...yet...

A stage 3 would be showing me the door...

Soooo... went up to the office today for a back to work meeting...Long story short I still have a job but the earliest I'll be back in is...

...April 15th...

When I got my last sick note it was done over the phone with my GP but via the reception, you just ask for one & the doc writes it up & you pick it up. This was back in Feb, last one run out on the 15th Feb...Well I picked it up didnt really look at it, copied it & shoved it in the post...

I didn't ask for it but the Doc wrote it out as a full sick note for 8 weeks... Previous one was amended duties...

So the meeting today went ok, the ocupational doc report from the 14th sugested the council arange more Physio over the next two months & then they would see me again before starting back to work...Typicaly I haven't had any notification re the physio as yet...

So the upshot is I'm due back in on the 15th April on a phazed return...2 days a week for 2 weeks, then 3 days a week for 2 weeks, then 4 days a week for 2 weeks, then full time...This is all under a 3 month reveiw...If I can't do the work or struggle on the amended duties we will reveiw it in the 3 months...

Unless in the meantime I get a second Oc health meeting...

The days I'm not in will be booked as holiday so I get paid but the good news is they will use the holiday from last year inc the days I had booked off for NI & Wales...That means I don't lose any Hol from this year...Result
