Gel seats

Post by Nickso »

Who is it that does complete Gel seat refurbs?

Had a search but can't find what I'm looking for. Pretty sure there was a bloke/firm on here that were doing good complete gel seat units on sending of a used seat unit.

Just done 370 miles in a day on the VTR to Applecross and back and it nearly killed me on a standard seat....my butt/back is just about back to normal two weeks later. :o

Cheers

Nick.

Did you stop and have chips?
Some great roads for you to get there and back.
I'm there on the 16th. Overnight in ullapool then back on Sat.
If it's raining, not going anywhere.

I'll get there at some time

Grumpy frog,

We were there pretty early so not much was open. By the time we had repaired one of our bikes after a crash on the way down the hill and stuff was open a bunch of herberts on GS's turned up and we legged it back to Loch Carron for lunch.

Great ride made crap by the seat issue. :)

Should say watch out after the summit viewing area. Maybe a mile and a bit later there's a horrible corner all wombles up and off camber too. All three of us had a major wobble going through it and one of us came off.

Yip, I know the corner you are on about, it was pissing down last year when we came down, didn't even stop at the viewing area, too busy trying not to lock up on the way down, almost surfing the cross streams and dodging fecin cyclists, their support busses, and motorhomes that should not have been on the road to start with.
Still bloody great roads.

It is Elsemade, don't know how active he is on facebook but if you find yourself struggling to get hold of Alastair, he did recently post that he was closed due to family circumstances and that work would recommence asap.

Ok cheers. Will give him a try but not in a huge hurry to get it done so don't mind waiting.

Have another seat off my spares bike so I'll send that. Cheers for the offer though. :)
