Had a shock today, looking for a quote to insure my two bikes on a multibike insurance plan.
with MCE, and was shocked that the price came in at 274 quid
I couldn't believe this as my Firestorm came in at 113 quid
and my Yam 600, 91 quid which I thought was fair.
He then came back with a price from the underwriters (whatever that means )
and got it down to 245 quid, I told him to forget it.
So I was looking at a figure around 150-180
How can these Tossers justify this, particularly as you can only ride one at a time !!
Also I was looking at maybe just insuring my 600 for 3 months and that came in at 154 Quid !!!
Does it work out cheaper say if you own 3 or 4 bikes maybe ???

Re: Multibike Insurance
I keep trying this as well, it either ends up dearer than both separately or, as happened last night, they declined to quote, probably because of the declared mods.
I'm tempted to put it back to std for each years insurance, same as I used to stick std cans on for the MOT, before I found a deaf tester.

It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.

Re: Multibike Insurance
Kev, try Footman James. Cant remember the exact figure but renewal back around May time for all the bikes, fully comprehensive, was just over the £420 ish mark, so around £40/bike. (Includes 3 at agreed, rather than market, value, unlimited mileage, leathers, breakdown, etc.etc.)
