I joined because my rear CCT failed.
I wondered how many people joined because theirs failed?

Give us a vote.

It might help new members to make an informed decision.
It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.

Tony,
you need to add another option:
"I joined as I am a nutter and had no idea what a CCT was before I joined: thanks for informing me."

I'll vote for that.
Don't hassle me
I'll get there at some time

I'll vote for that.
That would fit me also, seconded.
I'm so unlucky that if there is such a thing as re-incarnation I'll come back as me!

I joined the forum in anticipation of buying a VTR and to get a heads up on any issues. Job done, rode it home from York to Hertford and fitted manuals at the earliest opportunity, about 2 weeks later.

I found a forum after buying mine and it had someone that had put an led strip light in the headlight,
I done this but it went wrong really quick.
so I tried to find it again
so I joined this forum and have not regretted it for the helpful info, parts and banter.
I would love my cct`s done because I am worried about them but budget keeps getting low and don`t know who to trust.
still haven`t found the bike with the led strip lights
great forum
would recommend to anyone with a vtr

edited to say I can`t vote for any of the above reasons

2 months after buying my storm it developed a rattle at low rpm... fine when gunning it but as soon as I slowed or pulled up at traffic lights etc... rattle rattle rattle... Found and joined here after looking about the net for some info/ideas to what my problem was. Technically my ccts didn't fail... but they sure were rattling. Swapped out for new autos and all was fine. Phew! :P

I was out of bikes for years and standing on the fringes of a conversation my mate and another mate of his were having about a bike he had for sale
we went on our way and i asked what bike it was he said the vtr i didn't really now the bike or anything about it ,went to see it later that day
started it up and that was it the sound of the leo vince was great
i had to leave it at my mates house for a month or so until i got a good enough story together to tell the wife
went on the net looking for info as i didn't have a clue about these new fangled things and ended up here
only found out about the cct problem from this site
so the paranoia set in and i fitted mcct to cleanse myself
but failed to do the R/R and ended up with two dead battery's and the need for a new R/R
Love the site
Regards Mr Macdee
told you not to but oh no you knew better
