My grantfather was there with the 36th Ulster Division and came home from it :thumbup: . he never wanted to talk about it, all he ever said was. it was a dark time.... :(
the older i get,the faster i was :lol:

A great idea and tribute to those who gave up their lives. These very brave and courageous men (I say men, many of them were only teenagers) should never be forgotten,

Saw an bit on this on the breakfast news...Apareently they have been planning it for two years & somehow managed to keep it all quite until they started showing up all over the country yesterday morning.

They had one of the organisers & one of the guys on the sofa.

The young guy who had taken part said none of them new anything about it until the morning of...

Brilliant...

How on earth they kept it off any social media is amazing, how they got all the kit together without anyone letting something out of the bag ???
