Bottom fork yoke

Post by NZSpokes »

Are there any different fork yokes that can be used on the stock fork. Thinking the lower one as the steel one is not up to much.

Before people say just fit USD forks, they are very expensive here and very hard to get.

Maybe a alloy one that can be shimmed to fit.

Yes that is the weak link in the stock front end IMHO.
What I was looking for before I did the fork swap was an aftermarket lower triple for a 600F3 as it will just drop right in.

I know Attack Performance made one and there also might be other sources also

I am just in the process of making new one, but it is going rather slowly. Currently waiting for new axle. It is for 45 mm blade forks, but there is CAD draw for 41 mm as well. It is meant as direct replacement for lower triple, upper will stay the same.

can´t, standard stem is welded to lower triple. But there will be new one pressed into and you can use oem bearings. I will post more details when it will be ready, because now I cannot tell final price and availability. I can imagine I will do another 41 mm for testing in current future, but right now it is done mainly for my needs :-)

material of lower triple is ALU7000 serie (certal), stem will be some alu alloy as well.

Decent weight saving over the standard one, and deeper to stop the forks flexing,
Nice work

You not sticking with your double lower clamp deal? Seems legit to me.

new lower triples are ready for the test fit on my bike. I will take better photos on daylight, and tell more in single topic if everything goes well ...
