unwanted rear penetration

Post by agentpineapple »

just to let everyone know that yesterday I was knocked off my bike, the end result is a broken wrist and lots of bruising, it's bloody had work typing with only my left hand... :(
it was a slow speed accident, probably 10mph at most, but by eck did the c/f engine cover do it's job, the bikes got some panel damage and the usual casualties, rhs indi, mirror, screen, front subframe, both brake levers, r&g bar end, exhaust has a minor scrape, but it looks bent inwards towards the bike, also the rhs fairing and seat unit will need repairing and painting... :(
i'll have a better look this afternoon. tbh it was more of a side swipe than a rear end, but I couldn't resist that thread title.....
a massive thanks goes out to ABB and monkey matt for stepping up and helping me on the day, I can't thank you guys enough...

Crap news, glad you're well enough to type, albeit cack-handedly. Hope the bike gets sorted and the wrist - I'd be gutted if I did my right wrist for "recreational reasons" lol

DOH ! Ouch !

Welcome to the wonkey wrist club !

OK normal rules apply, get yousrself sorted out first.

Then get a thorough list of bits needed & we'll all see if we can help at all.

More details needed of injuries & photos of wounds & x-rays need to follow...

I take it cos ABB & MM were there this didn't happen in East London...?

Not going through insurance..It's complicated...

More details needed...

So the standard sorry to hear this news & hope you heal up OK...Bike cabn be fixed ect...

Now the sympathy & plesantries are out of the way we can start the piss taking...

So someone ran into the back of you...are they blind ? How the hell did they not see you ? You's huge innit !

I wouldn't say the other person was blind, but maybe his tin foil hat slipped down over his eyes......
hence not going thru insurance, I reckon i'll have most of the parts in the shed, if I get stuck with anything, i'll let you guys know, thanks for the offer maccy.
I've got a lot of skin missing on my right knee, my fault for not wearing my textile trousers, suspected broken scaphoid, i'll know more in the next 2 weeks, a lovely deep purple bruise on my spare tyre, that'll change colours over the next week or so, and general soreness, not to mention the swollen balls I will have next week....

That is not good news mate, like mac says get yourself sorted then post up what your gonna need to fix up your bike and we can hopefully help you get that sorted too.
Now mac also mentioned that the pleasantries have now been sorted and to commence with the piss taking.......
So the big questuon is...was it a deliverance style unwanted rear penetration??.......
