The Indoor Tramp of Woolwich.

Post by MacV2 »

I had the joy of visiting this ''Gentleman'' again today.

I was doing a block treatment in his block of flats...knock on every door & treat if necessary...cockroaches & mice were on the menu today.

So this is the guy with the mega manky sink as seen here...http://www.vtr1000.org/phpBB3/viewtopic ... 45#p359825

So we were treating his flat for G/C (German Cockroach, Blattella germanica.) earlier this year & then the visits dried up...

So today, well firstly he had socks on so no update on the state of his feet...

The sink is no longer blocked...still filthy as fek but no longer filled with stinking fetid water...

There are no G/C in his kitchen !

Instead his sofa is crawling with them !

He's sitting on it & tells me that's where the problem is, moves the back upright cushion & 100's of the fekers start running out !

Now I've seen a few sights in my time as a pest controller but this is a first for me...

Image

Trust me when I say this is only a few of them.
G/C are light phobic so they hide away during the day & when you disturb them or shine a light on them they will run off to hide. Every time he moved something of the sofa loads of them scurried off.

So I did what I do but recommended that we come back & spray the room with a strong poison to knock down the population...Oh how I'm looking forward to doing that...Not.

Maybe the gent was a cockroach in a past life, and he's none the wiser, as he's living with all his relatives?

Some people just can't be educated, or reasoned with regarding hygiene and H&S.

Some folk have really sad tales to tell, and their life has gone down the shitter, so they're past caring. I've stayed with people who live like this (and have roaches/rats etc)

Although my life is a sad tale and would make a good book, there's a limit to how far I'm willing to wallow in me own shite. I don't think I could go as far as this guys flat tho.

It's kinda sad to see.
If it ain't broken...f*ck about with it until it is.

Maybe the two waste sacks of empty Special Brew cans may shed so light on his ''issues''.

I'll ignore that remark Al.

Someone who HAS been to mine will be along shortly to put you right on your misconception of the state of my house.

Why assume the tins are all his?

Maybe the cockroaches are alcoholics?

Maybe there's one BIG Mother F that you haven't found yet. The leader of them all. And they, plus the man, are just the slaves.

I've seen that film y'know. Joe's Apartment. The comedy with the guy in the flat, living with the same infestation.

They could be partying all night before you arrive, hence all the beer tins and crumbs everywhere!

Here's the original MTV pilot (before the film) - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wj3ra_B1PVU

Mmm I wonder if that could be considered a step op from homeless and living on the streets. Very sad.
