Those minty nails would go well with a polo shirt.
It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.

sat and looked at mine,,,

then looked some more trying to work out how to make it more comfortable to ride bar wise..iv already got 3" apexi rise bars on it and it still turns me into a gimp after about 20 miles 8O

i know what the answer is but it would be so wrong to do it..

Put the rack and top box on ready for when I transition back to going to the station to get on the rattler rather than riding all the way in to London once the snow and ice get here. Makes it practical but ruins the looks.
I'm so unlucky that if there is such a thing as re-incarnation I'll come back as me!

Swore at it a bit...quite a bit...

I thought it would be prudent to go for a test run today, to check thet the new head bearings were not either too tight or too loose, so pulled the bike out, got me kit on... Fired it up... Revs like a bastid 3k +...

Pillock that I am I'd routed the throttle cable wrong...

De kit, bikes all out to get to tools... the thottle housing put up a fight, got the nipple out, re routed...not enough slack to get it back on...Bastid fek fek fek...ect

An hour plus later having taken the tank & air box off to access the carb end of cable...

On the bright side I gave it a new air fillter & sub fillters whilst in there...

I did test ride & it was ok.

in a twist of madness i sold my bike today, or rather swapped it :eek2 :eek2 :eek2

the sexy good looking Aprilia is away and in its place is..................................a yamaha MT09, the strange tracker version..

back to back with the MT, the italian wins on handling, braking, looks. looks again.

what the MT has going for it , the seat, and the engine thats a total turbine torque monster, its a 2105 model and has yamaha history and only 11k by a very careful owner.

lets see how i get on with this. :eek2
