Use the 'report listing' as fraudulent option - if enough folk do it then ebay will get the hint.

Word for word on the description
I thought I recognised some of the description word for word from somewhere else.

Notice the sh1t at the bottom..... buy it now price. First its a her (Contact her directly) and then it's a him (him all day long_ and then back to a her (Simply contact her directly)  Also that whole paragraph is an image so eBay can't see it if scanning words in their system.

Yeah, I like counterpoint sometimes.

And I can afford to spunk £28.17.

Hi and thanks for the email. I am sorry about the late reply. The bike is in excellent condition, no problems here, all documents available, MOt till 11/2014.The buy it now price including shipping is £2,000 (delivered at your door). I will get somebody to bring it to you if you decide to buy it but we have to close the deal through eBay, inspection period prior buying it along with a refund policy will be included in the sale terms. Let me know if you want details on how to complete the sale. I attached pictures. It's located in Aberdeen

Thank you, Amy

Seem to be a lot of scams going on at the minute and they are picking places up here, Aberdeen, Aberlour etc, they think no one stays up here or that you lot down south aren't going to hop on a plane and come up for a look before handing cash over, they are trying to get your deposits and then run as far as i know.

a guy in work is looking for a campervan, he saw one and it was meant to be in the village he stays in, so he asked to look it over, no reply so far, if you look at the sellers details and other items etc you usually find they are somewhere completely differnent.

AP I think you should send another reply to "Amy" asking her to detail exactly how she would like to proceed with the transaction!

Would surely be something along the lines of paypal gift, or bank transfer...

Why can't these people go out and earn their damn money?

In the last spate of SP ebay scams the 'sellers' wanted a bank transfer to accounts based in Leicester (after sending forged invoices purporting to be from ebay via disposable hotmail email accounts) - I contacted the banks but they didn't want to know as to them no offence had been committed.

i'm presuming they simply log into the ebay accounts of users using easily guessable passwords ( http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/technology-24821528 ) then use accounts of folk who haven't used ebay for a while, reconfigure their email but try and get folk to contact them directly in the ad, so no communications passes through ebay and stored or detected.
