Calsport - good rep :)

Post by benny hedges »

email sent the other day....

Dear calsport-1,

Hi there -
i bought a pair of 180mm akropovic heatproof exhaust decals through ebay - item 200894268528 on 9th march - they arrived a few days after...received both well packaged, quick delivery etc...

i went to fit them this morning - one was ok, but on the other, half the glue was stuck to the backing and it wouldn't stick to the can.

the (ti) cans had been cleaned with scotchbrite and brake cleaner to make sure they were degreased before appying the stickers.
the problem is, the 2nd one didn't have any glue on one end, under where the akro logo is as it was still on the backing paper.

the result is it looks crap on the bike.

would you be so kind as to replace this sticker? - i'll send the faulty one back if you want but it might not come off in one piece!

cheers.

reply received today...

I will get you another posted out today.

Dont worry about sending the faulty one back as it will then cost you.
Regards

Wayne

a rare happening indeed - a seller replacing a faulty item without question, at no charge.
i am impressed :)
You do not have to say anything. But it may harm your defence if you do not mention when posting something which you later rely on in quote. Anything you do say may be ripped to sh*t.

good stuff mate

I usually attach a picture in the email of a defect item on first contact with them

stops them asking for postage of the item back or proof as having to post sh1t back to them to wait for as replacement can take an age

Good on them for not being petty enough to want it back too
