Is that a leg of the Eiffel tower I can see on the right hands side of the bottom pic.

That garage sign reminds me of an old car sticker my mum had on one of her cars years ago. The badge said Nobby and Richard Garage

yep you got it. when we booked up we did,nt realise that celtic were playing barcelona the middle day we were there , it added an extra dimension!. i think there,s an airport called prats down there as well. maybe it means something else in spanish. praps marty will put us right.

the bottom pic is a bit of detail off the sagrada familia carl. the sloping bit is probably cos gaudi dont go a lot on straight lines !

Almost made it there hitching as an art student with the aim of seeing the Dali museum, but got dropped off at the beach nr Bordeaux. Eventually saw the Dali museum in Tampa a few years later.

i would have loved to see that but only had a couple of days. there is so much there you could spend a fortnight.

took the kids there in summer and spent the whole day just having lunch and doing the new camp . thats an impressive place as well..

i think the el prat airport is the main airport, ryanair makes me laugh to they have 3 airports under the umbrella of barcelona (reus, girona.barcelona):lol:
barca is a great place the familia segrada is stunning, although i got bored of the religous ramblings via the audio commentary...
gaudi was crazy and the familia segrada will never be finished.
as for prats, i think its an area/district of barca.
you gotta check out the market just off the rambla.....La Boqueria Market
they have the biggest sweety stall i've ever seen........
