Dobles, in Coulsdon, have just opened a brand new servive dept which has been made,apparently, to reduce lead times by being large enough to accomodate more engineers. Sounds a bit iffy but I booked mine in to see why it was making a nasty rattling sound (tappetts apparently) and have some crash bungs fitted. All work was done well in 2 days. They even cleaned it, lubed the sidestand and pointed out 1 or 2 minor things that can be done on next service. Cake icing is the free loan of a '53 plate 600 hornet courtesy bike. Most everywhere else ( Tippetts, Hartgate etc ) have managed to bugger up something or other. So, on the strength of that, 10/10.
