Hi there - New Forum Member and VTR Owner from today!

Post by Tempest »

Just thought I'd do a quick posting and say hi to everyone on these forums.

I've been having a read in the background for the past week and really liked what I saw (seems a great bunch of folks on here)

Just TODAY (about 2 hours ago!) I became a FireStorm Owner :)

I bought Tony's (off these forums) Firestorm from him. (great bloke by the way)

Went to see him last week and had a test ride. Then spent the past week being unable to decide if I really needed 2 bike (which I don't)

But, today I just had a "Oh, what the hell) moment and decided Go For It :D

So, as well as my TDM Which I bought last November (to get me back into biking after 23 years of not having a bike)

I also now have a lovely Yellow Firestorm:

I'm not going to get rid of my TDM as it's a lovely bike, and have topbox and panniers now, so if I want to take anything anywhere, then that's the bike of choice.

But for a Fun Blast I think I'll be giving the Firestorm a nice run.

So, Hi to all, and hope to have lots of great VTR Chat soon :)

Well, I hadn't when you 1st asked me :)

I was really sitting on the fence right up until the last moment with this purchase.

My heart said buy it, but my head said no.

For once I ignored my head and went with my heart :)

Hey, you only live once, and it's my Birthday in 9 days (August 14th) so I'm telling myself it's my early birthday present :D

Well, I have been looking at it with interest :)
I need to have TDM and VTR combined somehow.

Working on that one........

I'll just keep the VTR safe for you, till you want it back again :D

Yes, well, it always seems to be a good idea to blank your number plate out when displaying bike pics to avoid cloning.

So you've not really helped there :(

Sorry Tempest
I had just come out of the Sales&Wants section and seen this
http://www.vtr1000.org/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=6945

So whislt I totally agree with you and didn't mean to cause offense I thought the effort was a little futile (And I'd had a couple of drinks  )
Lets blame it all on Tony and start again :P :P
