Excatly...join in more. The 50post rule was brought in to stop people joining just to post for sale adds then disapearing...

Oh & if you've been on for over a year shame on you...just one post a day is 365...

Thank your luck stars it's free on some forums you have to pay a subcrition to access all the areas...
Plus, on This forum you are welcome, even if you don't have a Storm, or indeed if you have a Teal Storm!! Although you need to be thick skinned for the latter

I thought 50 was loads when I joined too. However it's actually not that bad. The fellas on here talk enough nonsense for you to respond to.

Although I think the last person that brought this up started opening ancient threads to get the post count up? I didn't think that was appropriate.

Great forum to get involved in. I am pretty busy at the minute other wise I'd be on a bit more. And only going to get busier over the next month or so which is quite disappointing.

Clearly not seen any of my input's, plus I have only been here since Jan 2017, so the "The shame is your not joining in" is no warranted or welcome. I have been Biking for over 40 years and worked in motorcycle mechanics, and engineering, so can be a help on here when I think it would be helpful, but will not comment on stuff that I know there are other more knowledgeable because of having solved or done the work needed, so have the low-down. Cam tensioners for one. I have done loads of tentioner mode in the past, but never done one on a VTR so would not ever comment on it. Mine are already done before I get the " you should do them as soon as you can"

Bertye,

don't take it too personally, most people on here are the same demographic as you . biking for 40+ yrs, hands on with our bikes [would rather spend time in the shed than talk to people in my case] and a bit old school regarding internet forums and facebook [in general I am not active on any other forum and I hate facebook].

so this should be a good place where you can share your views ... just because some guys on here have done some of this stuff loads of times, there is always room for some fresh eyes views and an alternative option.

so the "Pull your finger out" was
a) said in fun
b) should be rewarding in the long run

Bertye, biking for only 40 years. You must be one of the young ones. Get all the members together and it looks like a snow field with a few pink boulders scattered about.

Sorry Berty. I thought with your smiley face Avatar you would be up for a bit of banter. No offence ment.
But on the bright side, I managed to draw another post out of you. you're now a bit closer to those magic 50 posts

I'm surprised that the local hospital wasn't on high alert with all those oldies in one location.
