I wandered lonely as a cloud behind Rossi, trying to understand why braking to 30 from 40 seemed a good idea in a 50 limit with good visibility.
Still, I got time to look at the roll angle in tiny font in my dash- we reached a max of 17 degrees all day

But I did at least see some really beautiful scenery. Turns out the best views of Wakes aren't all turn-in points, braking point and apexes.

But the leash was off when Al and I took on the sweepers from Builth Wells to Rhayader at the end of the day when I had finished back marker duties. I went a bit wild there...

On the ride home, hungover and knackered, we were taking it easy following a trail of cars with a learner in front- doing 30-⁴⁰ in a 50.
I snapped, and took off on my own, at pace.

That idiot in an Audi trying to cut round five bikes in the queue for roadworks was the last straw, went past on his inside and didn't stop accelerating until I felt better.
Good weekend was had by all, thanks for all who were there, esp the organisers.
It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.

Next year I'll be staying a bit longer in Wales, the all day slog from home to Wales on the Friday is far too close to the all day slog home on Sunday.
I will be doing the same ... not because of the long slog there and back, as its only 100 miles for me, but because there is great roads we can do on a multi day event. so if there are others there too, I want some of that

and I will be retired by then, so wont need to book extra holiday :D

Unsurpringly I have spares so alll is good.

Victor carried out a suprisingly good road side bush mechanics involing an allen key, loads of zip ties & some electriacl tape. Not only did it get me back to the bunk house but the 200 odd miles home & it hasen't moved !

Special thanks to Jonesey & Victor for helping me out on the spot...

As is par for the course almost everyone else took the unrine. Special shout out to Al, Gabbi,Pete,Tony & Bazza...A lesser man could have been hurt by some of your comments so you call all go F*** yourselves...
I'm gutted for you Mac, obviously glad you didn't come out of it too bad, but none the less it must have a put a damper on the weekend for you regardless.

Amazing repair work by Victor on the gear change lever. I thought the same as Al (AMcQ46) the allen key would have turned once you changed gear with it, obviously not 8O It must have been well secured to what was left of the gear change lever.

Apart from that incident, it looks like you all had a brilliant weekend 8)

Thanks to all for taking the photo's in the first place, and for posting them up, it makes the reading all that more interesting
