Hi just to bring all you Storm Troopers up to date, I phoned the new Bunkbouse the other night for more info, Ruth the owner sent an email with the details, here's a copy below.
Please note I will be contacting you all in February for the balance, all people on the list have paid £20 deposit, I made a slight mistake on the original costing, the total cost is £56, not £51, this is for a bed, bedding and Breakfast, so the balance to be paid will be £36.
Anyone who doesn't want a breakfast please let me know so I can reduce your balance to be paid accordingly.

Dear Kevin
Good to chat with you last night.
Will do my best to provide you with all information as requested but if I miss something, please don't hesitate to let me know.

You are booked in for sole occupancy of the Bunkhouse for 2 nights, arriving Friday 11th September and Leaving on Sunday 13th. As it stands I don't have another booking on the Sunday so if that remains, you are welcome to leave whenever suits you.

The bunkhouse sleeps 16, there is additional space of 4 - 6 in a self contained studio and 2 available rooms in the house, any additional persons apart from the bunkhouse will be £20.00 per person per night.

Bedding is included in the price but not towels though they can be hired at £1.00 each.

Breakfast can be provided with previous notice. I can provide you with bread, milk, jams, juice, cereals etc at £4.00 per person or if people would like a cooked full English (or I should say Welsh) breakfast in addition to the previous it would be £8.00 per person. What I usually do is cook everything and bring it over to you in hot dishes to self serve, this seems to work well with large groups but if you would prefer it plated up, that's fine, we can discuss that if required nearer the time.

There is a barbecue and a fire pit for your use weather permitting, also the kitchen is well equipped for self catering. If you decided to eat out in the evening, Rhayader is just under 2 miles away with plenty of places to get pub meals and a curry house, also a good fish and chip shop. I would recommend booking though.

Just a thought about camper vans! Fine to park any camper vans, although we are limited for space.
They will be £5.00 per person per night. The only thing is, people will need to use the bunkhouse facilities as there is not a toilet or shower block for campers.

I do hope this covers everything but if there are any further queries, please ring or email anytime.

Good Luck with the organising!!

Best Wishes

Ruth

Hi Moo, for me to put you on the list and secure a place you'll need to send me £56 as full payment now, or before mid February, I will be asking everyone else listed to square up soon, some already have.

Hi Kev,

That’s no problem. I can’t reply to your message btw.

Can I put down for two places?
